Our work supporting pupils in school has been recognised by a number of organisations and we are very proud of all our achievements. So what’s next? Well, for a start we want that Gold Youth Sport Trust award and the Woodland Trust Green Tree award! Watch this space
Silver Woodland Trust Award March 2017
We were rewarded again for completing more environmental projects and encouraging outdoor learning. We can't wait to pick the apples from our school orchard and eat the delicious produce growing in our Poly Tunnel!
Stonewall School Champions
We pride ourselves on accepting all pupils, and members of our school community, without exception. Stonewall and Gulval School believe we're stronger united in order that our communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential.
Bronze Woodland Trust Award January 2017
We were rewarded for completing environmental projects and encouraging outdoor learning. Our award was a fantastic way to enhance our school's green credentials while inspiring our pupils in all things outdoors!
Youth Sports Trust Quality Mark (Silver)
The Youth Sport Trust is a national charity dedicated to building a brighter future for all young people. We are passionate about our sport, our support of pupils well-being and the outdoors!
We are proud of our Thrive School status
Every child needs to feel valued, involved and appreciated. We know more now than ever before about what helps to develop healthy curious minds and happy, confident and creative children. If children have been emotionally thrown off track, either temporarily or over longer periods, Thrive helps us understand the needs being signalled by their behaviour and gives us targeted strategies and activities to help them re-engage.
Primary Science Quality Mark (Silver)
The Primary Science Quality Mark is an award scheme to enable primary schools across the UK to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision. Schools can achieve bronze, silver and gold awards.
Recognised for our work supporting the health and well being of our pupils and the Gulval staff team.
The aim? For all children, young people and their families in Cornwall to be safe and have good opportunities to achieve and improve themselves
