⚔️ Invaders, Settlers and Kingdoms: Our Anglo-Saxon Adventure Begins

This half term, Diamond Class have stepped back in time to explore the fascinating world of the Anglo-Saxons!

So far, we have discovered what happened after the Romans left Britain and explored why the Anglo-Saxons chose to settle here. The children have been learning about important historical concepts such as invasion, migration and settlement, and have even located the different Anglo-Saxon kingdoms on a map. Next week, we will be finding out what life was like in Anglo-Saxon society. We have been impressed by the children’s curiosity, thoughtful discussions and growing historical knowledge. We can’t wait to continue our Anglo-Saxon journey together!
