Welcome back, Citrine Class! 🌟
Mrs Sherwood and Mrs Markham are so excited to share all of the wonderful learning we have planned for the rest of the summer term. The children have been absolutely fantastic this year—we are so proud of how hard they have worked, how much they have grown, and the brilliant attitudes they show every day. They have been shining superstars! ⭐
We can’t wait to see them continue to flourish, build their confidence, and enjoy their final half term in Year 1. There are lots of exciting activities ahead, and we know the children will keep amazing us with their enthusiasm, kindness, and determination.
Please make sure your child brings their PE kit, a named water bottle, one school bag, and a coat to school every day—whatever the weather. We kindly ask that all belongings are clearly named so we can help keep everything safe and organised. As the sunshine becomes more frequent, please remember to send your child in with a named water bottle and sun cream. ☀️
Library books and phonics books can stay in school bags so the children can enjoy reading regularly throughout the week. Library books will be changed on Mondays. Thank you so much for your continued support with daily reading—it’s wonderful to see how much progress the children are making! Please continue to record reading on BoomReader or send in a reading record. 📚
Please keep checking this page to stay up to date with all the exciting learning happening in Citrine Class. We are looking forward to a fun-filled, successful, and memorable final term together!
