Amethyst Class

Year 4

Welcome to Amethyst Class 🌟

This next term is a huge fun packed one – we are absolutely making the most of it! Brass lessons begin, camp is fast approaching and you don’t want to miss anything! We also welcome Miss Morse to our team – we are so lucky!

Amethyst Class have already amazed me with their brilliant attitudes to learning and growing resilience. Our budding times table experts and incredible storywriters are showing just how much they can achieve — and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

We’re building great habits too:

  • Water bottles and coats should be in school every day to keep us hydrated and ready for all weather.
  • PE is on Wednesday — please make sure full PE kits are in school.
  • Library day is Friday, but we love reading every day — keep bringing your books in and logging your reading. Don’t forget to keep working on your Reading Rivers too!
  • Brass lessons will be on a Friday, please make sure instruments are in class ready. Keep practicing at home – it makes a big difference!

Let’s keep up the fantastic effort, Amethyst Class — you’re shining so brightly already!

“I can’t get over the letter we received from a magical school, I really hope they pick me to find the moon compass, I’ve got lots of ideas where it could be hidden!”

Homework

Parent support in pupils learning is vital, as are the partnerships between home and school. There is useful information below, explaining the expectations at Gulval School for your child’s home learning and we are always available should you have any questions.
