We say NO to bullying!

We are committed to providing a warm, caring and safe environment for all our children so that they can learn, grow and thrive in a relaxed and secure environment.

Bullying of any kind is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our school. Therefore, we take all incidents of bullying seriously. It is our belief that no-one deserves to be a victim of bullying… bullying hurts. Kindness and respect are rated highly within our schools core values and are embedded in everything we do. Pupils who are bullying others need support in order to learn different ways of behaving and communicating. We acknowledge that bullying happens from time to time – indeed, it would be unrealistic to claim that it does not. If bullying does occur, we are confident in knowing that it will be dealt with promptly and effectively in line with our anti-bullying policy. There are a number of ways in which a child, or you as parents, can share your concerns. For example;

  • All children have identified Trusted Adults.
  • Worry monsters are in all classrooms.
  • Play leaders are on hand at play and lunch times.

We pride ourselves on the positive relationships we build with our children and hope that children are comfortable in sharing their concerns.

In addition, we also have a dedicated email address for parents to communicate directly with the Headteacher for any issues relating to bullying. Report a concern
