Beats, Bars and Brilliant Music! 🎵

In Sapphire Class this half term, we have been exploring the exciting world of grime and hip-hop music by using digital editing software to create our own original tracks. Before composing, we learned all about pulse and rhythm, developing our understanding of how music stays in time and how beats work together.

Using this knowledge, we created our own 4-bar repeating beats and experimented with layering different sounds to build our compositions. We explored a range of musical elements, including percussion, strings, keyboards and vocals, carefully selecting and combining sounds to create the effect we wanted.

As young musicians and producers, we used our creativity and listening skills to edit, refine and improve our tracks. We are incredibly proud of the music we created and enjoyed hearing how every composition had its own unique style and personality.
