Gasps, giggles and great reading

Year 5 have been absolutely loving our end-of-day reading sessions with Roald Dahl’s classic, The Twits! It has become a highlight of our daily routine, with the children regularly jumping in to join in with the reading and bring the story to life.

The classroom has been full of giggles and gasps as the children uncover the Twits’ peculiar world. It has been fantastic to witness such great listening during our end of day read and excellent engagement from our young readers.

Keep up the great work, Year 5! We are all on the edge of our seats and can’t wait to see what happens next to this infamous couple!
