Make it, play it, love it!

This term, Year 4 have been getting creative with coding as they designed and programmed their own games using Scratch! Pupils learned how to use block coding to control characters (called sprites), create backgrounds, and add sounds and scoring systems. From maze adventures to space races, their games were full of imagination and problem-solving. Along the way, they developed key computing skills like sequencing, debugging, and logical thinking. It was fantastic to see their ideas come to life on screen—and even more exciting when they got to play each other’s games!
