Sapphire Class Explores Commitment and Faith

This term in RE, Sapphire Class has been learning all about commitment—what it means to dedicate ourselves to the things we believe are important. They’ve explored the Muslim faith, gaining a deeper understanding of the Five Pillars of Islam and how Muslims show their commitment to Allah through prayer, charity, and fasting. Pupils have also reflected on their own lives, thinking about what they’re committed to and how they can show dedication in everyday actions. Through thoughtful discussions and creative activities, Sapphire Class has developed a greater appreciation for different beliefs and the values that guide us all.
