Seasons in the Spotlight!

In Science we have been exploring our solar system. Most recently, we looked at how night and day are caused by the Earth’s rotation on its axis. Using a globe, a Lego person, and a torch, we discovered how sunlight reaches different parts of the Earth and why this makes daytime and nighttime. We also investigated how the tilt of the Earth’s axis creates the seasons we experience throughout the year. Great job, Diamond Class – fantastic scientific thinking!
