Amazing writers!

Topaz Class have been learning all about recounts and their key features. We started off learning the text Antarctic Adventures and exploring it’s key features. We learnt all about the importance of adding detail by using adverbs, expnade noun phrases and time adverbials. We then worked together as a class to write a recount bout our trip to St Michaels Mount where we planned out all the details we wanted to include. The children then had the opportunity to write a recount about an event of their choice. What a super bunch of writers they are!
