Amethyst class shine brightly!

In Amethyst class, we’ve been busy designing and making our own torches in DT! We began by developing design criteria, focusing on creating a functional and durable product for a specific target audience, having evaluated a variety of existing designs. With electrical circuits at the heart of our design, we carefully selected materials and components to ensure the torch would work effectively. One key part of the project was making switches, allowing us to control the flow of electricity in our circuits. Through this hands-on experience, we gained valuable skills in both design and engineering, while considering both practicality and creativity in our final designs.
