Times tables champions

This year, Amethyst Class have truly excelled in their times tables learning! Through dedication, daily practice, and a brilliant team spirit, the children have shown outstanding progress in both speed and accuracy. Their enthusiasm for mastering their multiplication facts has been infectious, with each pupil pushing themselves to improve week by week.

To celebrate their fantastic achievements, Amethyst Class were treated to a very special (and slightly soggy!) reward. They challenged Miss Roach to a rapid-fire times tables quiz—head-to-head with the class! The children were quick, confident, and determined to show off just how far they’ve come.

Despite Miss Roach’s best efforts, Amethyst Class proved unbeatable. As a well-deserved prize for their hard work and victory, they got the chance to throw water balloons at their teacher! There was laughter, excitement, and plenty of splashes—making it a memorable celebration of learning.

We are incredibly proud of Amethyst Class for their commitment and positive attitude this year. They’ve shown that hard work really does pay off, and they’ve definitely earned their title as Times Tables Champions!
